Yasawa Princess
Day 1: UK/Male
Day 2: Male
Arrive at Male International Airport. Dhoni transfer to the MV Yasawa Princess for overnight.
Day 3: Maafushi
Enjoy snorkelling, swimming and sunbathing at the Sand Bank near Maafushi. After lunch on board the ship we will cruise across the Atoll Channel to Vaavu Atoll - watch out for flying fish and dolphins on the way. Once anchored for the night, there will be a night fishing trip at sunset, followed by buffet dinner on board. There will be a check dive in the morning for scuba divers.
Day 4: Dhiggiri Island
Sail to the tourist resort of Dhiggiri Island where the whole day can be spent snorkelling, sunbathing and swimming. Lunch will be back on the ship, after which you can return to the resort, use the facilities and relax. Night fishing is the evening excursion, with dinner back on board to reflect on the days' events. Morning and afternoon dives are available.
Day 5: Vashogiri
During a leisurely breakfast, cruise to the picnic island of Vashogiri in Vaavu Atoll, where we spend the whole day at leisure for swimming, snorkelling and sunbathing. A picnic lunch will be served on the island, and a glass bottom boat will be available to take out and enjoy the sights of the underwater world. During late afternoon, it's back on board ship, which will take a leisurely sail back towards South Male Atoll. Morning and afternoon dives are available.
Day 6: Guraidhoo
This morning is spent on a lovely natural sandbank near the island of Maadhoofinolhu, for swimming, snorkelling and sunbathing after which lunch will be served on board the ship. In the afternoon, we have a trip to the local island of Guraidhoo, where we're able to get a glimpse of the unique Maldivian way of life. During the evening we hold the weekly Captain's Dinner, and reflect on the cruise so far in good company. Morning and afternoon dives are available.
Day 7: Maadhoofinolhu
Today is a full day with nature on the uninhabited picnic island of Maadhoofinolhu - relax, swim, sunbathe and watch the vast horizon of the Indian Ocean in tranquil surroundings. A picnic lunch will be served on the island. In the late afternoon return to the ship and get ready for a beach barbecue served on the island.
Day 8: Male
Set sail in the morning and stop at a sandbank en route for last swim and snorkel. Return to Male for shopping and sightseeing in the afternoon. Slide show of the best photographs of the week, and a final farewell buffet dinner served on board.
Day 9: Male
After a leisurely breakfast, transfer by dhoni back to the airport for international departure flight, or extend your stay at one of our superb beach resorts.
Atoll Explorer: (Itinerary 1)
Day 1: UK - Maldives.
On arrival at Male you will be transferred to the Atoll Explorer (20 mins by boat) for a personal welcome.
Day 2: Kurumba - Velassaru
Early morning sail to Velassaru which has one of the best beaches in the Maldives. Relax on the beach by the infinity pool or enjoy a spot of snorkelling. Evening slide show by the Dive Team to introduce the underwater marine life of the Maldives.
Day 3: Velassaru - Kuramathi.
Early morning sail to Kuramathi Island Resort where you can snorkel on the house reef or experience a rainforest walk through the most mature endemic forest in the Maldives. Afternoon visit to a local fishing village. Night fishing excursion.
Day 4: Kuramathi - Bathala
Depart from Kuramathi to the Bathala Island Resort. Tonight experience a night dive followed by a local dance performance.
Day 5: Bathala - Meerufenfushi - Dhiggiri
Depart Bathala to the uninhabited island of Meerufenfushi where you can enjoy the tranquillity and top up on your tan. Afternoon sail to Dhiggiri where you will have a beach barbecue and the opportunity to join in stargazing.
Day 6: Dhiggiri
Today is a relaxing day on Dhiggiri complete with a picnic. Dhiggiri is a picture perfect desert island which also has some quality reefs offering excellent snorkelling. THe Captains dinner takes place this evening which is sure to be a memorable night.
Day 7: Dhiggiri - Kurumba.
Early morning sail to Kurumba. Afternoon at leisure before a late afternoon shopping trip to Male, Live band on board in the evening.
Day 8:
After breakfast disembark and transfer to the airport, spend a day around Kurumba if continuing on the cruise, or transfer to your resort island for a continued stay.
Atoll Explorer: (Itinerary 2)
Day 1 UK - Maldives
On arrival at Male will be transferred to the Atoll Explorer (20 mins by boat) for a welcome meeting.
Day 2: Kurumba - Maadhoo
Depart Kurumba for a light cruise to the uninhabited Maadhoo Picnic Island. Spend the day around the island for snorkelling and the beach. Evening slide show by the Dive Team to introduce the underwater marine life of the Maldives.
Day 3: Maadhoo - Theluveligaa
Depart Maadhoo and cruise to Theluveligaa Island. Theluveligaa is only 300m long by 150m wide and is ideal for sunbathing, swimming or snorkelling. Tonight experience a night fishing excursion.
Day 4: Theluveligaa - Rai Dhigga
Depart Theluveligaa to Rai Dhigga island which is a little island offering some of the best snorkelling on the cruise. Tonight experience a night dive followed by a local dance performance.
Day 5: Rai Dhigga - Huruelhi - Ariadhoo
Depart Rai Dhigga for the uninhabited island of Huruelhi. You can walk all the way around the island and go for a swim or just relax and top up your tan. Sail to Ariadhoo whilst watching out for whale sharks on the way. Stop at a local fishing village to experience Maldivian life. Arrive at Ariadhoo where there will be a beach barbecue and the opportunity to join in stargazing.
Day 6: Ariadhoo
Today is a relaxing day on Ariadhoo complete with a picnic. The Captains dinner takes place this evening which is sure to be a memorable night.
Day 7: Ariadhoo - Kurumba
Early morning sail to Kurumba. Afternoon at leisure before a late afternoon shopping trip to Mal�Live band on board in the evening.
